TERMS OF SERVICE / LAST UPDATED 13 SEPTEMBER 2026
The deal, in short.
These terms are the agreement between you and Beyond Tomorrow Studios Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15055704, VAT registration number 450 6931 92) at 8 Delta Mews, London, NW7 1RA, when you use Runthrough. Opening an account means you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you are confirming you are allowed to.
What Runthrough is
Runthrough is a hosted service for building and sending pitches. You build a pitch, we host it at a link, and we tell you what happened when someone opened it. We will keep improving it, which means features change. If we ever remove something you rely on, we will give you reasonable notice.
Your account
- You need to be 18 or over.
- Give us accurate details and keep them up to date.
- Your sign-in is yours. Keep it to yourself, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has it.
- On a plan with seats, each seat is one named person. Seats are not for sharing.
- What happens under your account is your responsibility.
What you make stays yours
Everything you put into Runthrough — your ideas, your words, your images, your formats — remains yours. We claim no ownership of it and we will not use it to promote ourselves without asking you first.
To run the service, you give us a licence to store your content, process it, and show it to the people you send it to. That licence lasts as long as your content is on the platform and exists for one purpose: doing the thing you asked us to do.
You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, including any music, footage, artwork or likeness in it, and that publishing it through Runthrough does not break anyone else’s rights or any duty of confidence you owe.
Sending pitches to people
Runthrough records who opened your pitch and for how long, and shows it to you. When you send a link, that is your decision and your responsibility: make sure you have a lawful basis for sending it and for the record we keep, and do not use the product to track people who would not expect it. Our privacy policy explains what is recorded.
What you may not do
- Break the law, or help anyone else to.
- Upload anything unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
- Attack, probe, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or try to get at data that is not yours.
- Resell or white-label Runthrough unless you are on a plan that says you can.
- Use it to send bulk unsolicited email.
Paying for it
- Prices are on the pricing section of our homepage and exclude VAT, which is added where it applies.
- Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, by card through Stripe. Invoicing by bank transfer is available on request.
- Plans renew automatically for the same period until you cancel. Cancel any time from your account; you keep the plan until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Free trials, where offered, convert to a paid plan at the end of the trial unless you cancel first. We will remind you before that happens.
- We do not give refunds for part-used periods, except where the law says we must or where we have genuinely failed to deliver the service.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email. A change takes effect at your next renewal, and you can cancel before it.
- If a payment fails, we may suspend the paid features until it clears.
If you are a consumer rather than a business, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights, including your right to cancel a distance contract within 14 days. Asking us to start the service immediately may reduce what you can claim back for the part you have used.
Uptime, support and the odd bad day
We work hard to keep Runthrough up and we will tell you about planned maintenance where we can. We do not promise an uptime figure unless we have agreed one with you in writing on an Enterprise plan. Support is by email at contact@runthrough.studio, in working hours, UK time.
Keep your own copy of anything you could not bear to lose. We take backups, but they are our safety net, not yours.
Ending it
You can close your account whenever you like. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right unless the breach is serious or we are legally obliged not to. When an account closes, published pitch links stop working and we delete the content on the timetable in our privacy policy — so export anything you want to keep first.
Our brand and our code
The Runthrough platform, its name, its logo, its templates and everything we wrote to make it work belong to us. Using the service does not give you any of it beyond the right to use the service itself.
Who is responsible for what
We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, the service is provided as it is: we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that a pitch will win you a commission.
Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, and where you are using Runthrough for business: we are not liable for lost profits, lost business, lost opportunity, lost goodwill or lost data, and our total liability to you in any 12-month period is capped at the amount you paid us in that period.
You will cover us against claims brought by anyone else because of content you published through Runthrough.
The small print
- These terms, plus our privacy policy and any order form we have both signed, are the whole agreement between us.
- We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date and, if the change is material, email you at least 30 days before it applies.
- You may not transfer this agreement without our consent. We may transfer it to a company that buys the business.
- If a clause turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
- Not enforcing something once does not mean we have given it up.
- Nobody other than you and us has rights under this agreement.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
